MUG CLUB
(photo credit: Mark Mason)FB’s downstairs bar is known as the Recreational Habitat or RH for short. In 2011, it was voted one of the “Top Basement Bars in the City” by Metromix. For those who never want to leave the house, the cozy retro RH is the next best thing and has been affectionately dubbed the “House Party,” and the “70’s Basement.” Outfitted with vintage furniture and complimentary Miss Pac Man and Donkey Kong arcades, the RH is the home of FB’s Mug Club, where anyone is free to join to receive special discounts on draft beer and craft draft brewery products featured monthly. If you revel in a great beer, be sure to ask our staff about how to register with the club. Mug Club membership entails a one-time $10 fee and our 16 ounce mugs of craft drafts which are typically $3 apiece for members; needless to say your membership pays for itself on the first night of use! Mug Club Members can also store personalized mugs along the back wall to use whenever they are in the RH. The RH is open weekends from 10PM-close.
*CURRENTLY FEATURED MUG CLUB DRAFTS: Summer Shandy, Berry Weis and Leinenkugel Red. The next Mug Club Tapping is Abita Brewery with Abita Purple Haze and Abita Amber Friday, May 24th 10pm-2am. Tappings typically take place the last weekend of each month and member discount is honored any weekend the RH is open. Please check back for updates!
